buxbeans has four tools that work together. You find seeds that fit your grow, save the ones you like, compare them side by side, and let us email you when one gets cheaper. You don't need an account for any of it.

Find seeds that fit your grow

Type a strain, a seed brand or a shop in the search box, or a word like "fruity" or "easy". Search looks at the name, the seed brand, the shops and the specs of every seed product, and puts the best match first.

The filters narrow the list down to seeds that suit your grow:

• Price per seed, and Deals for a minimum discount.
• Feminized or regular, and autoflower or photoperiod. See feminized or regular and autoflower or photoperiod.
• Grow specs: yield, difficulty, THC, CBD, flowering time, height and genetics, each in a few plain brackets such as low, medium and high. Why brackets and not exact figures: grow specs.
• Taste and effect, and a strain, seed brand or shop by name.
• Pack size: small packs (under 10 seeds) and large packs (10 to 25) are on, bulk is off until you turn it on. See price per seed.

You only see shops that ship to your country, and sold-out packs stay hidden unless you ask for them. With no search, the list starts with the cheapest price per seed; with a search, the closest matches come first. Your filters are part of the page's address, so you can bookmark a search or send it to a friend. How the order works: how we compare.

Save seeds to your wish list

Tap the heart on a seed product to save it. Your Saved page, in the menu at the top, shows every seed you saved with today's lowest price per seed, for your currency and your country. A seed that sold out stays on the list with its stock shown, so you can see when it's back. You can save up to 200 seed products.

Your wish list lives in this browser. To keep it on your phone and your laptop, ask for a sign-in link: we email you a link, you open it, and that's it. No password, no profile. What we keep and why: privacy.

Compare seeds side by side

Save at least two seed products, then tap Compare on your Saved page. You see up to ten next to each other: the lowest price per seed, every shop that sells them in the pack size you pick, and the grow specs row by row, so differences stand out. Choose small, large or bulk packs at the top, and the prices follow.

Comparing is the easiest way to choose between two versions of the same strain from different seed brands. Why those can differ: strains.

Get an email when the price drops

Tap the bell on a seed product. You choose how much it should drop (5% to 50%), which pack sizes count and which country it ships to. We start from today's lowest price per seed among shops that ship to you, leaving out packs we know are sold out, and email you when it goes below your target.

On your Saved page, Alert me on these sets one alert for your whole wish list: we email you when one of your saved seeds drops by the amount you pick.

Without a sign-in, we first send you a link to confirm your email address. The alert starts once you open it. We check after every price update, send at most three emails a day, and don't email you again about the same seed until it drops further. Every email has a link to stop that alert, and you can delete alerts on your Saved page.

We measure a drop against the market, not against a shop's own "was" price: price drops.
