High-yield autoflowering seeds.

The most weed from a small space, without changing the light schedule. These feminized autoflowers are described as yielding 600 g/m² or more. That's the breeder's best result: your light, pot size and feeding move it more than the label.

Filters we used, and why

  • Feminized: every seed grows into a female plant, the one that flowers, so you don't need to spot and remove males. Feminized or regular.
  • Autoflower: it flowers by age, not by daylight, so you never change the light schedule. Most stay compact. Autoflower or photoperiod.
  • Yield high: 600 g/m² or more as stated. Yield brackets.

What high yield means for an autoflower

Breeders state yield in many ways: grams per plant, per square metre, per watt of light. We sort every figure into three brackets so you can compare seeds from different breeders and shops.

Bracket Yield
Low Under 450 g/m²
Medium 450 to 600 g/m²
High 600 g/m² or more

This page shows feminized autoflowers stated in the high bracket. A seed with no stated yield sits in the medium bracket, so it isn't shown here. Yield brackets.

Why grams per square metre

A figure per plant depends on how big you let the plant grow; a figure per watt depends on the lamp. Grams per square metre is the figure most breeders give for indoor grows, and it tells you what a filled space can produce. Your own number depends mostly on your light.

Autoflower or photoperiod for yield?

An autoflower lives for about 8 to 12 weeks; a photoperiod can grow for months. Per plant, the photoperiod usually wins. Per month, or per square metre in a small space, a good autoflower can come close.

High-yield autoflower High-yield photoperiod
Harvest per plant Smaller Larger
Harvests per year indoors Four or more Two to three
Fits a small tent Yes With training
Outdoor harvest Summer Autumn

If you have space and a long summer, also look at big outdoor plants.

What decides your harvest

The genetics set a ceiling. How close you get to it depends on your grow:

  1. Light: the biggest factor indoors. Yield claims assume strong light.
  2. Pot size: autoflowers grow roots fast; a pot that's too small limits the plant.
  3. No setbacks early: an autoflower can't make up for lost weeks. Plant it in its final pot.
  4. Space: fill the tent with plants; a single plant in a big tent won't reach the per-metre figure.
  5. Outdoors: full sun and warmth.

Breeders describe their best results. Treat the figure as a direction and compare seeds against each other, not against your scale.

Narrowing it down

First grow?

Yield on a first grow depends more on avoiding mistakes than on genetics. Easy seeds for a small tent may give you more in the end.

Good to know

Breeders describe their best results. Your light, feeding, weather and harvest decide what you actually get, so read every figure as a direction.

Filters like high, short, small and easy only show seeds where a breeder or shop states that figure. A seed with no figure sits in the middle bracket, so it isn't shown here even if it would fit. No figure? The middle bracket.
